Liposuction is a procedure in Singapore that surgically removes stubborn fat deposits in localized areas through small puncture holes, resulting in a better contour and a slimmer appearance. After the liposuction procedure is performed, the patient is required to wear a compression garment for 4 to 6 weeks. This allows for skin contraction, thus resulting in the best possible aesthetic outcome. The small ports that are used for liposuction are sutured, and the sutures are removed 1 week after the procedure. Some bruising is to be expected after the liposuction procedure and these will resolve after a week to 10 days.
